From a simple idea to a global mission
ESHIFT LLC was founded in 2024 with a mission to democratize access to professional-grade software tools for freelancers and small businesses, especially in underserved markets.
The company is registered in the United States and builds products that serve global markets. Our first product, Funela, was born out of a real frustration: freelancers and small business owners in French-speaking countries like Morocco and France lacked a modern, affordable invoicing tool built for their specific needs — local tax compliance, multi-currency support, and an intuitive interface in their language.
We set out to fix that. And along the way, we realized that this problem wasn't unique to invoicing — there are dozens of workflows where freelancers and small businesses in emerging markets are either completely underserved or forced to use tools built for a completely different audience. That insight drives everything we build at ESHIFT.
Our company name reflects our core belief: to shift how businesses operate, one smart tool at a time. We believe technology should be an enabler — not a barrier — for anyone looking to build something meaningful.
